What accessories to wear with a gold prom dress?
I've bought a prom dress that looks very similar to this one, its gold and knee length and has very thin straps:

I'm not sure what shoes to wear with the dress... Should I wear gold shoes or should I try a different colour as I'm not sure what else would match?
And also any ideas for jewellery... I don't really wear much so just a small amount?
And what nail polish and make up and hairstyle would look good and would suit me?
I have brown hair and eyes and a light skin tone.

shoes-
color:nude, black, or gold. If you do go with a gold shoe make sure it's not solid. Like, at least let it be a peep toe, or a strappy kind. You don't want too much gold.

These are close to the color you would want if you pick nude for your color. I wouldn't want mine that pink. You can play around with the shade, this is just the example. These are nice, but you may want a peep toe instead of these. Also, you can see these in black. (theres plenty more like these on zappos)
If you are going for a fourties type thing with that dress, which would look super cute, use the nude peep toe shoes.
jewelry-
necklace:Since you said that you don't wear a lot of jewelry, you can go with no necklace, or something small like this one.

earrings:pearls, diamond studs, nothing too dangly
bracelets:I don't suggest a bracelet, but if you want one, nothing too flashy.
makeup-
eyes:
option 1:line the top lid with black liquid eyeliner. Big eyelashes! Use really good black mascara. Or, if you would like use false eyelashes. Nothing on the bottom lid. If you do want something, a thin line of eyeliner if you want. Not too much though, because you don't want to look like a raccoon. option 2:find some gold shadow that you would like. Put it on the top lid only. Use black mascara. Do a thin line on the top lid of black liner.

lips:bold lip. dark red, bright red, any type of red. this would go with option 1. look at the picture under option 1 for eyes. if you picked option two for eyes, pick a light lip. Maybe a light pink gloss, or a completely clear one. Or lighter lipstick. whatever you prefer
face: Very natural. Concealer and powder. http://sephora.com/ sephora is wonderful for makeup. you can find everything there
nail polish- black, a very light pink, charcoal, french tips, or natural with a clear coat.
hair- if you're going for the forties look, then the chignon (yes weird name i know)
