My hands get callused from lifting weights even while wearing gloves. Any advice?
I regularly lift pretty heavy weights & have tried several different gloves, yet I still get calluses on my hands. Is there any other way to minimize the calluses?
You should use chalk. This helps to keep your skin dry and tight. Not all gyms will allow it, but chalk will also improve your grip on heavy lifts. There is no problem with having calluses on your hands anyways, makes you look like more of a man than some pretty boy softy who sits at a computer all day.

Nitrile Examination Gloves
Nitrile examination gloves are growing in popularity. Gloves are found to be used by different people for many different purposes. They are used to keep your hands warm or to protect your hands. Usually rubber gloves were only used to clean their home.
People in the medical field would use gloves to keep themselves from getting infected. Though in the earlier years people especially doctors were using rubber or latex gloves for conducting surgeries they soon found that these gloves were open to wear and tear because of punctures. Before doctors would use latex or rubber gloves when they were doing surgery until they found out how easy they would tear. A long time ago doctors would use rubber gloves when they were conducting surgery on people until they found out how they punctured easily. It was then that nitrile examination gloves were introduced.
Nitrile examination gloves are made in a lab. These nitrile examination gloves are more highly resistant to punctures and tears than the ordinary rubber gloves. They can also withstand harsh conditions. Nitrile examination gloves are easy to slip on because of the lesser friction it contains unlike latex or vinyl gloves. Nitrile examination gloves offer high degree of flexibility and dexterity to the fingers. It is important that when gloves are chosen a few points have to be kept in the mind.
First is the extent of protection which is needed for their hands, what the glove is made out of, and whether any allergic reactions will occur due to the material of the glove.
Nitrile examination gloves are manufactured in three different grades in the order of the amount of protection they offer to the wearer of the gloves. If the glove says it has a medical grade then you know it has the highest level of protection possible and has gone through the most vigorous tests to ensure their medical quality.
The second grade is the high risk type where the gloves are used in the emergency medical services like the paramedics.
The third grade is the utility grade which means the gloves are not to be used in any medical field and are not vigorously tested. Usually utility grade gloves are used in jobs such as where you have to paint.
Cornstarch is added to nitrile examination gloves so that it makes wearing the gloves much easier and these nitrile gloves come in all kind of sizes to fit any type of hand. They even come with different textures such as beaded and smooth, thickness, and different cuff lengths.
It is extremely important that the nitrile gloves are not put in high heat or too much light as it will make the glove wear much faster.
Nitrile examination gloves are more expensive than the traditional vinyl or latex gloves. But this has not deterred many medical professional from switching to nitrile examination gloves from latex gloves as latex gloves have been known to cause allergies.
