Would a Corset and Pencil Skirt look good?
My prom is coming up and I couldn't find a dress that I liked....therefore I came up with a different solution....
I'm planning to go dressed as a Burlesque Circus Ringmaster, so I was thinking of:
- Black Pencil Skirt
- Red or Black Corset
- Mini Top hat Fascinator
- Red High Heels (Court Shoes possibly)
- Long Black silk gloves
- Fishnets
But I have one problem.....I'm a UK Size 10/12.....and I have big hips.....and I'm a little short (5ft 3in)....basically I'm a pear shape.....
Any Advice???

I would go for a black pencil skirt, red AND black corset (silky or lacey), with fishnet tights and black shiny platform heels!
The hat would look good if it has some lace on it and silk gloves would look awesome! Tulip shape skirts seem to accentuate my hips which are big but wont work for everyone so you might have to try a few on. But burlesque girls are curvey around the hips anyway so dont worry and have fun!
