fat man in a little coat...help/tips please?
I am a 4x kinda guy and as i will be getting married next year i am looking at the fun task of picking out a tux....only problem is i always feel twice as big in those tight fitting funny looking monkey suits...anyone have some tips that can help me pick out a better looking tux? What type should i look at? Does tails v.s. no tails matter? And to who ever it is that is going to say loose some weight, don't. Also, the wedding will be during the late morning with reciption over by 4pm...thanks,

Hi Tom. My fiancé is also a big guy and he looks stunning in a tux IMO (but then again I'm a little biased). Also in my opinion it doesn't matter what size someone is, it just matters how they feel about themselves. Black will look more flattering then white, because black is a "slimming color". Tails rarely look flattering on anyone or any size or shape. When you go to find a tux you would probably do better in a Big & Tall Store, like Men's Warehouse, where they deal with men who have some extra meat to them everyday and can truly be honest about what is comfy for the larger man. When my fiancé got his suit we went to a Men's Warehouse and the people their were so nice and they were straight forward about what would and wouldn't look best on him. If you feel uncomfortable in tuxes or with yourself then it really won't matter how you look because your self consciousness will shine right threw.

Why Invest on a Men's Suit (or Invest Anew)
Who would've imagined that an old Pink Panther movie would be my first meeting with the very essential men's suit? I was really puzzled at first as to why Cato, the valet, had to go to the trouble of brushing Inspector Jacques Closeau's suit. I was to learn later on that the suit , or a blazer, is an investment, and any serious gentleman without one is in many ways the poorer.
A point for consideration before investing is that your lifestyle may not really need suits. Whatever the case, you ought to at least have one. Let's take a shot at the main reasons why, aside from the fact that Inspector Closeau managed to have one.
We can simply come up with a lot of reasons why a suit deserves to be considered in your budget if you don't have one, and why they need to be replaced if you bought ill-suited ones.
